To attend YouthBASE, children must be enrolled in one of our four partner schools: Monaview Elementary, AJ Whittenberg, Welcome Elementary, or Hollis Academy.
Children must be in kindergarten (K5) through 2nd grade to participate in YouthBASE.
AFTERSCHOOL
During the school year: Monday - Friday from 2:30pm - 5:15pm
Interactive, multi-sensory lessons in reading, writing, and math
Homework support
Engaging and fun field trips
Weekly Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons
Hands-on activities in STEM, art, and creative learning
School visits and lunches to foster positive connections
Strong collaboration between teachers and parents to support student success
Program is free, with a one-time $25 enrollment fee for the school year
Free transportation from school to our facility for all students, with free transportation home available on a limited basis
SUMMER
Six-week summer program: Monday to Friday from 8:30am – 2:00pm
Structured academics to strengthen skills and prevent summer learning loss
Engaging and fun field trips
Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) lessons
Hands-on activities in STEM, art, and creative learning
Program is free, with a one-time $25 enrollment fee for the summer
