Café de Madres is a free, supportive, Spanish-language gathering for mothers to connect, learn, and grow together. Based on the Strengthening Families Parent Café model, this program fosters relationships, builds social networks, and provides valuable resources to empower women in key areas such as parenting, child development, healthcare, and financial literacy. Held Tuesday mornings from 9:30am – 11:30am during the school year, Café de Madres is offered in Spanish and open to all mothers in the Greenville community. Childcare is available for those who need it.
Family Night is a special opportunity for YouthBASE families to come together, enjoy a meal, and participate in fun, educational activities in a supportive community setting. Held on the 4th Thursday of each month, Family Night is designed to strengthen family bonds while reinforcing learning in a relaxed and engaging environment. We provide a free, nutritious meal for every family member, and all household members are welcome to attend. After dinner, families participate in pro-social activities such as literacy, math, science, or game-based programs. These interactive experiences encourage learning, connection, and quality time between parents and children, helping to build a strong foundation for success at home and in school.
