Many children need afterschool care. Some need YouthBASE.

YouthBASE is a unique Afterschool and Summer program designed to equip K5-2nd grade children with the skills and abilities to overcome Behavioral, Academic, Social and Emotional difficulties so they may succeed at school, home, and in the community.

Summer Learning Loss

It’s estimated that summer learning loss accounts for as much as 85% of the reading achievement gap between lower-income students and their middle and upper income peers.

At YouthBASE, children strive to achieve grade level reading by 3rd grade. We engage children in fun, educational programming including individualized, small group instruction, game based learning, social and emotional learning and field trips. Our program is free of charge.
